Automated data exchange with regard to dactyloscopic data in Greece
Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs
A8-0287/2017:

Isabella
ADINOLFI

ABSTENTION (+) . – UKIP MEPs voted to abstain on this technically non-legislative report. UKIP supports data exchanges in principle, particularly when the aim is to fight terrorism and serious crime, but thinks that this should be concluded bilaterally between sovereign nations.

ABSTENTION (+) . ‒ I am not against the free exchange of data, but as this affects only Greece I felt it appropriate to abstain on a matter with only tangential impact upon the United Kingdom.

Ho quindi votato a favore.

ABSTENTION (+) I voted to abstain on this technically non-legislative report. I support data exchanges, particularly when this the aim is to fight terrorism and serious crime, but I believe that this should be concluded bilaterally between sovereign nations. This doesn’t need to be conducted at EU level.
